FX is an American pay television channel owned by the Walt Disney Television unit of The Walt Disney Company through FX Networks, LLC. It is based at the Fox Studios lot in Century City, California. FX originally launched on June 1, 1994.

These are some of the greatest dramas of all time.

What the hell happened to this channel.

I watch Game of Thrones live, I dvr Rick and Morty , and I record the Strain.

This show is unbelievably bad.

The scenes we have this latest episode do not move the overall end game at all in any way.

What happened to a once great channel?

I didn't watch the Americans or Sons of Anarchy, I hear wonderful things about them.

But if you specifically look at the Shield. It started an entire genre of the anti-hero.

There would be no Walter White if there was no Vic Mackey.

Who ever is in charge of the current FX network, please know. I think you do horrible work compared to the previous decade."

"I have been working at FX Networks full-time Cons: Many of the employees, from executive level down, have been there for years, just learning as they go along. As a result, they don't have much acumen or expertise in their fields. There's so little transparency that it's difficult to perform your job at a max level. Information is secreted to a select few in the company. Usually the individuals that have been there the longest. Frankly, it's an office full of a lot of exclusion and obvious whispering in corners. Serious divide between the older employees and new hires. I would not recommend to anyone looking to grow their career or even stay at their current level. You'll end up losing your skill set and briefly stunting your career. Even if you're trying to get your foot in the door at the entry level, I would not recommend. You'd have no one to teach you the industry or professionalism for that matter. Overall, I've had some good jobs and some bad. This was quite possibly the worst. So disappointing considering the great programming."

If your looking for an easy ride and no career growth and a mismatch job skills then this is place for you! Very unorganized and inefficient planning. No clear vision from management. CHAOS!"

Frivolous spending instead of pooling talent from within. False sense of disrupting the industry. Upper management kisses each other's butts & look to shine instead of being effective team leaders. Dysfunctional network who somehow pump out quality work at the expense of those who really do the work. Departments are disconnected & lack cohesiveness."

"I have been working at FX Networks full-time for more than a year Cons: FX is the place NOT to be. Poor management who have been there forever and need to step into the 21st century. Culture is seriously lacking, there is no transparency and inclusion of employees from upper management. Lots of micro managing going on. All departments have plenty ob cons, but none more so that Marketing. It's a group that has since the highest turnover in the last two years. Perhaps the worst spot to be is Digital Media which has probably seen 70% of it's people leave and is continually losing people back-to-back. Subpar leadership is big part of the problem. Everyone at the network talks about it around the halls. Sadly, the top brass has done nothing to reverse the problem. Do yourself a favor, go apply at another network."

"I worked at FX Networks full-time for more than a year Cons: I have to say, when I received the job offer at FX Networks I wish I had looked at the reviews on Glassdoor before accepting. So much of what is said on here is 100% true. And some favorable reviews on here are clearly written by someone in HR. This is a company that has grown substantially in the last two years. While the staff is growing, it’s the people who have been there for many years continuing to make all the decisions. There is absolutely no room to own any of your own projects or to contribute ideas or knowledge gained from previous work experience. Management has been there since the company was much smaller and still operates like they are a small company. All decisions, literally ALL come from executive management and management below them operate out of fear of upsetting higher ups so they do not speak up when they see inefficiency or room for improvement. There is a complete lack of process in place and what is even worse is that nobody seems to want to put one in place. Management has spent most of their careers working solely at FX and don’t have much industry experience outside of the FX Bubble. The perception from the outside of "FX Fearless" is not present in the company culture. Its a very quiet office, completely devoid of fun or collaboration and an environment where most employees are miserable and looking for other jobs. There is no room for growth here and you will likely feel that you are losing skills as management wants to hold on to all past responsibilities and have no trust in the employees which they hire on to their teams. Ideas are not welcomed as any sort of input from outside hires is seen as a threat to the way things are done at FX and thus many employees feel helpless and like they cant make any meaningful impact in their positions. There are a lot of great people working here but unfortunately, their talents are not put to use and most people are operating at a skill level much below what they are used to and looking to leave. I felt that working here really was a step back in my professional career and I did not learn much working here. Due to the lack of process in place, a lot of work is given very last minute and the expectation is to operate under “fire drills”. People run around very hectic trying to get work done with very short turn around due to a lack of communication between departments. All this goes back to the lack of process in place, lack of willingness to implement process or to digress to the idea that maybe there is a better way to get things done. Promotions are given based on how long you have been with the company and not for hard work or excelling in your role. Thus many talented and knowledgeable people leave due to lack of career growth and a feeling that their contributions are not appreciated. Case in point, employees were asked to pay for their own company Christmas party."
